Birding the Capes - Trap Pond
Trap Pond is the most northern cypress swamp on the east coast. A beautiful spot and great birding here also for our elderhostel group.
Prothonotary warbler
Northern oriole
Pink lady's slipper
This pileated woodpecker was viewed by everyone from the bus.
This phoebe was building a nest near the comfort station.
We saw these ruddy turnstones huddled away from the wind on our way home.
