Back on May 21st I showed you a Red Admiral egg. Here is what happened to it. The caterpillar emerges and builds a leaf shelter for protection, and eats the leaf from inside. Not much to see.
I can't imagine that a caterpillar with those spines needs a shelter for protection.
Finally a chrysallis. Next a Red Admiral Butterfly will emerge.
