The Year in Review

Here are the nutcrackers on display in the Lobby.
My friend said she spent the New Year, reviewing all the photos on the blog, which is a great way to remember the year just past. I did it and I agree. It also gave me some ideas of things to do in these gloomy winter months when I am anxiously awaiting the rebirth of Spring. Any suggestions from my followers are appreciated.

Happy New Year!

At Foulkeways we enjoy a delicious New Year's Eve dinner, as you can see from the menu .

Happy Holidays!

It's Christmas here at Foulkeways.
Our annual Gingerbread House display by the staff is better than ever.

Made even more interesting by adding Chris's train.

Here is a candy train made by the grandchildren.

A gingerbread carousel!

So many wonderful Gingerbread Houses. Come to the Foulkeways lobby to see this fabulous display.

The Mountains are Gone!

The mountains of dirt that stood behind N 17 and 18 have been returned to the lawn behind the Community Center. This marks real progress in the construction.

First Snow

This is what it looked like yesterday. It is hard to believe that it was 60 just a few days ago. It is winter now.

This is how it looks today.

A December ? Morning

With morning sunshine and temperatures nearing 60, it was difficult to believe it was December, particularly seeing these lovely roses blooming in an Abington courtyard.
