Vespers

Rabbi Axler, of Congregation Berth Or, presented the "Torah to Go" program at the Sunday night vesper services.
He discussed the Torah, how it is made, and its importance to the Jewish faith.

A 400 year old Torah from a synagogue destroyed by the Nazis in Czechoslovakia, on loan from the British.

Still snowing

It is still snowing and it is now 7:30 in the evening.
Glad that I don't have to be out there - poor robin.

Morning of the Blizzard

By 11am it was beautiful and snowing with the blizzard yet to come.

Another big snow

It looked like about 16-17 inches on top of my bird feeder. The temperature tonight is going down to 9. I will be happy when this winter ends!

The Gathering

The gathering is open. Our construction is almost finished.
There are tables where you can sit and have a cup of coffee, or enjoy many of the sweet delights. There are also cards and supplies formerly found in the gift shop.
Many ice cream flavors

February Gallery

Last month we had an exhibit of Si's art work, and this month his grandson. Soon they will do a joint exhibit for Montgomery County Community College.

I think I can see Si's influence in this picture. The lighting makes it difficult to get acceptable photos of much of the art work.
