Our bees are in their hives somewhat protectred from the cold winter winds by a lattice screen.
Burlap has been added to the windbreak.
Cardboard has reduced the size of the entrances. The bees do need to come out to defecate, even in winter. We hope there is enough honey to see them through the winter.
One of our residents has a Jade Tree in Bloom. Apparently they bloom when the days grow shorter, and here we are at the Winter Solstice.
These, and many more, Byers Choice Carolers are singing on the shelves in Central.
I took a walk on the lower part of the campus to see if there were any decorations outside the apartments. Here are a few of those I saw.
