Thanksgiving surprise!

This was a surprise to find it snowing on Thanksgiving morning. Some of the flakes were the size of a half dollar.

The snow turned our world white, but by the time our Thanksgiving dinner was over it had changed to rain and outside it was now November gray.

Windbreaker for bees

A windbreaker was put near the hives to help keep them warm in winter.
Winter doors, to keep the cold out and the warm inside will be put on each hive.

There is an unwanted visitor at this hive - Did she just get mixed up and go to the wrong hive?

Here are some dead bees at the door, and the beekeeper will need to check on this hive.

Here is a wasp at the door trying to get in.

Balloon Ride 3

Here we are ready to land in Woxall. And if you are wondering how I got these first two photos, when I was inside the basket, they were sent to me by a kind neighbor. Thank you!

There is our beautiful balloon all safe in its big bag -- ready for the next customer of the BLUE DRAGON BALLOONS. It was a wonderful experience!

Balloon Ride 2

Here are a few of the images from on high between Mainland and Woxall.

We were flying with the geese!

Balloon Ride 1

We went on a balloon ride today to celebrate the passing of another decade by a Foulkeways resident.

We're off, with the support crew of the Blue Dragon Balloons waving to us.

Honey!

Here are the jugs of honey provided by our Foulkeways bees. We met this afternoon and formed an assembly line to get the product from jugs to jars.
Filling the jars.

Topping them off.

Putting on the lid.

Putting on the label.

Here is the honey from our bees, which will be on sale outside the Gift Box on Monday morning starting at 10 am. Thanks go to Frank for designing the label.

Seein' is believin'

There really is a beautiful red fox on campus. This photo taken on a rainy day.
My cat is enamored of my new pair of shoes. (Please excuse the red eye.)

These lovely delicate flowers are still blooming on my patio.

November seens

This white "blob" growing out of a tree near "K" parking lot, appears to be a fungus.

Even a trash closet can be beautiful.
