There were mounds of "dirt" which was incorporated into the basin bed.
This area was then covered with a mesh "cloth" that will eventually disintergrate, but will keep things from washing away.
Trees and shrubs were carried into the wetland, and will be planted there on Saturday.
There were also many flats of plants that will be placed in drier or wetter areas of the basin. This will all happen on Saturday when an Eagle scout will bring his troop to do the grunt work. They will also be putting in place a temporary fence and some string to keep the geese away. We don't want them to eat up our newly planted area. The fence is to keep our hungry deer out also.
At the other end of the meadow they have begun work on the cleanup.
