Hidden gems

Between Central and the fitness center, aroud the parking lot, you can find some gems at this time of year.

This fothergilla is located just outside the door from Abington to Fitness.

This dogwood is up the ramp beyond the loading platform.  It appears to have once been a tree, but is now growing as an abudant flowering shrub.

Tucked in behind the dogwood is this holly, which is also now a shrub.

And last of all, what I had been searching for!  A golden chain tree.  But it is no longer a tree, but also growing as a shrub. 

The flowers are lovely golden chains.
