Honey Lovers Unite!

We had a campaign by the dandelion haters which resulted in spraying our lawns (and more) with weed killer.  This year they sprayed the area around the wildflower meadow, and even a foot or so of the meadow.  This has left our bees without food at a critical time for the making of honey.  I also hate to think of the butterflies and other insects which will be hurt by this.  How about  not spraying on that side of the road near the wildflower meadow?

The more.  Again the spray drifted (?) into my garden and left three columbines out of four with twisted and gnarled leaves.

I think that the problem may be taken care of for next year.
